Let's face it -- the worst part about going to see a Broadway show is that you have to be in the Theater District. In addition to battling the tourists in Times Square, you're faced with some seriously limited (not to mention overpriced) dining options. Well, next time you're considering dinner and a show, take a look at our list of favorite spots:

Higher-end joints

Marseille

Location: 44th & 9th

This French brasserie is great for a date spot or a popular choice if your parents are visiting from out of town. They also do a good 3 course pre-fixe menu if you're not in a rush before the show.

Don Giovanni Ristorante

Location: 44th & 9th

This quaint Italian spot is located on the same block as Marseille and offers coal-fired pizzas and pasta dishes all at a very reasonable price.

Qi Bangkok

Location: 43rd &8th

You will feel like you've landed in a royal Thai spaceship in this decked out, chandelier-clad restaurant. This is definitely a crowd pleasing menu as you get a good variety of Southeast Asian curries and noodle dishes.

Fast and cheap

Real Kung Fu Little Steamed Buns Ramen

Location: 49th & 8th

This hole in the wall, no frills spot has quick service and great pork buns. It's cool to see the chef in the back of the restaurant pull the noodles by hand for their ramen noodle soup. They do definitely lack ambiance, though, so may not be the best pick if you're looking for a place to have a leisurely meal.

Ollie's Sichuan

Location: 42nd & 9th

The Chinese food at Ollie's is always excellent and quick. It's a good choice if you're looking for a place that can accomodate a large group, plus the food portions are big so you can easily share a few dishes.
